On Saturday, July 26th, Monks Grove held its Ministry Fair where all of the ministries showcased their purpose to new and existing members as well as visitors in hopes the it may encourage them to become a part of a ministry. The response was great as many people took out of their busy schedules to come and see what is going on at Monks Grove Baptist Church.
There were a couple of new ministries unveiled during the fair. The Emergency Response Team, founded by Sis LaTasha Gooden, has been formed to assist members with medical emergencies that may occur during any worship service. Comprised mostly of members who work in the medical field, this ministry can provide immediate attention to people until emergency personnel arrives.
